Yes, it is definitely an internal well from which we draw upon. Even things that are ‘external’ to us, exist in our universe, through our perception. Our place in the universe is ‘energy converter’, because any being that has an ego or the ability to say “I”, can take a situation that they perceive as ‘negative’ and convert it into a ‘positive’ thought/reaction. The nature of this universe is change. That is the reason why time exists. There is also a state that is ‘outside of time’ where everything exists simultaneously but we don’t normally perceive it because we don’t normally need it to refine our existence. So, we will focus on what we do perceive which is the passing of time. Like all things that we perceive, the flow of time is dependent on the observer. Mechanical clocks use gravity as their basis so they will not move at the same rate when in a different gravitational field from which they were calibrated. Furthermore, gravity is considered a curvature in time/space so you can see that ‘time’ really is flexible. Karma is like the universe’s way of giving us a nudge in the right direction.
