8: What do you mean by “male” and “female”, their energy and their role in religion?
It’s important to note that when I talk about male and female energy, I’m not referring to men and women. Everybody is built up of a combination of male and female energy. In general we are born the gender of the dominant energy. Obviously this is not true in all cases. Therefore when I say male/female energy is this, or that, I’m not saying that all men/women are a certain way I’m making a general observation about too different types of energy male/female.
There are other names for this difference of energy like yin and yang. Yin is considered the female and yang is considered the male. In I Ching, yang is symbolized by a single line: _ and yin by a broken line: - -. The yang line is like a penis and the yin like a vagina. This describes the two basic directions of energy in relationship to *something or an observer. 1: Projecting. 2: Receiving. Everything in the multiverse does both of these things.
In fact, one of the most important things that I took from my experience was that it was the balance of male/female energy, that allowed me to experience nirvana. The conflict with religion and with my old thinking is this; Propagation and rationalization are both ‘male’ in terms of energy. They ‘project’ and ‘define’ and have nothing to do with feeling, only ego. But those are the two things that are used to spread a philosophy. That says that the very idea of convincing someone to believe what you believe is male in nature. Not to say that that’s bad but to say that it’s not complete and that it sets up a patriarch on a subconscious level. This contaminates everything. You end up with all men running the religion, sexism and overall bad thoughts towards female. Look at all the religions and think about the role of the female. Male energy is ruled by thought, female by intuition. The intelligent are respected the intuitive considered witches. Lust is considered the most negative thing ever but isn’t it human nature to desire sex! Religion tried to take out the most intuitive, female side to all of our nature. Even in the east, the flesh is said to be weak. This is completely wrong and makes it difficult for us to love ourselves and to love others. Aren’t we covered in flesh? You see it’s the people who don’t feel too passionately that are the ones that want to spread religion the most. Receiving, or the female side, is obviously of equal importance as projecting a rationale. All of our senses are based on the reception of energy. We need these to witness the universe and we need the male side to analyze what it means.

Well said! I often times forget when speaking of energies that others may not understand "feminine" doesn't mean girlie and "masculine" isn't butch. :) EVERYTHING has at least two sides & those sides can always be broken down into categories of either fem/masc or positive/negative. There's also the concept of Force & Form where the masculine, or god, energy is thought of as the raw force in the Universe and the feminine, or goddess, energy is the creative that gives the energy a form. One is not stronger or weaker than the other, it's a balance.
